Album Released! New Website! Shoegaze Event! Wow!

We are excited to announce that our album The Sun Rose in a Different Place is now out and available for purchase! Woo hoo! As you may guess, we are just a little bit excited about it.
Where might I preview this album, you may ask? We just installed a widget on our website and MySpace page where you can hear all the songs on the new album as well as the tracks from our self-titled EP. Mind you, we are not processed on iTunes just yet, so you cannot purchase the tracks through this magical widget today. We would also be quite pleased if you wanted to support us by buying the beautiful dinosaur of technology that is the CD. We worked hard to bring you an attractive matte-finished digipak that will make you “Ooohh” and “Ahhhh”. All hyperbole aside, it really came out nicely and we’d love to share it with you. Serious. You can purchase our CD through the PayPal link on our website and MySpace page. Since we are a DIY band, we would appreciate any help in spreading the word to new potential Echodrone fans!
Can I hear Echodrone live? Well, at the moment we are scattered geographically, much to our hearts’ discontent, but we do have plans for a live show sometime in the future. To tide you over, you can join other shoegazers tonight (2/20) to hear some album-style Echodrone at the Noc Noc on Haight Street in San Francisco. TremoloSF and DJ Zazou will be including some Echodrone tunes tonight (02/20) in a shoegaze/new wave/dreampop FREE event with experimental films by stop-motion amateur Christ Ritson. Show your beautiful faces and come and be bathed in some good sonic vibrations.
